DHCP relay

Cisco ASA provides a DHCP relay service to DHCP clients attached to ASA interfaces. DHCP relay passes DHCP requests received on one interface to an external DHCP server located behind a different interface.

To configure DHCP relay on ASA with DHCP server of 3.3.3.3 use following commands:

    dhcprelay server 3.3.3.3 ZZZZ
    dhcprelay enable inside

ZZZZ is interface where server resides (direction on the way to server) and inside interface is where the client resides (requesting for IP addresses).
